Carlos: I began studying rindik, an instrument from the Gamelan orchestra on Bali, when we moved there in 2009. When I felt the playfulness of the rhythm called “Kotekan”, I felt excited and I translated it from the rindik to the crystal singing bowls. The waveharp part came easily afterwards.
