Tara LeAnn: I was sitting in the middle of the temple at Harbin Hot Springs in September, 2008 when the melody and the first words of this song came to me. The rest came through easily over the following day. On that same day, Harbin had its first rain in over six months. It was wonderful to be in the normally silent pools when the rain began...everyone started to cheer and splash! We were camping, however, and the rain wasn’t so comfortable in our tent.
“Changes” comes from many different experiences I’ve had, not from one story. I’ve learned that when I follow my heart my life becomes rich with synchronicity and joy.
lyrics
Beauty all around, and sorrow, too
I felt all alone when I met you
Feeling that your love made me belong
What I sought was inside all along
Doors are opening wide in front of me
Where they lead I cannot hope to see
When I ask you which one I should choose
Both of us have so much more to lose
In my heart I know which way to go
Can't say why and don't know how I know
Sorry that you feel I've caused you pain
Not for me to camp here in the rain
